I just wanted to add the fact that there is a rumor apparently started by the arts gallery that Guy Joseph died from HIV, i just wanted to clearify that this statement is totally WRONG.
he was not sick or anything,

My husband bought 13 paintings from Guy Joseph on his last trip to Haiti in 1985.
Two were sold to the Voodoo Museum in the French Quarter of New Orleans in 1997 but I still have the rest.
Does anyone know where Guy lives now, He was in Jacmel in 1985 and I have been wondering about him ever since.

I bought a painting by Guy Joseph in Haiti around 2002, at that time the gallery said he passed away from HIV complications.

I am sorry to hear that Guy Joseph died. I wonder if the websites with his art are aware.
