Nicole Brice Hyppolite was born in Jeremie Haiti.
She is a grand-daughter to Jean-Joseph Vilaire, Edzer Vilaire's brother and a niece to the artist Jean Vilaire.
In that environment of literature and art, Nicole B Hyppolite took drawing lessons as a yougster in Port-au-Prince and continued drawing all her life as if breathing.
It is only later in life, after being a Nurse in Montreal and the USA that she decides to study Fine Art with the North Lite Institute of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Emotionally attached to her country of origin, her paintings exude her roots.
Yet her universal mind transcend regionalism.
Refined and delicate, she favors watercolor, yet her curiosity and powerful artistic quest leads her to work with oil and to successfully venture into the master's media from charcol to pastel, from casein to egg tempera.
Some of her paintings with an impressionistic touch have been featured in books.
She had many shows and media exposure in New York, Miami, Canada, Haiti and France.Today her primary activity is painting, a God given treasure wghichshe must share with others.
