I found some very old haitian artwork, that was stored in my grandparents storage unit.I took them to local art collectors, and they told me they dated in mid to late 1800's.
They are a series of 4 oil on linen, stretched on wooden frames. The artist signed: Chenet Pepe, this is a ficticous/ghostwriter name. As most people back then were very secretive and were not allowed to be outspoken or famous.I am looking for the right home for these treasures. As I feel they belong to the country of its origin, adorning the walls of their museum.Anyone that has info on this matter please contact me..and help me get these paintings to the right orginization.email sunnybunzy at hotmail.com
